I finally slowed down for a period of time to let everyone know how shooting and traveling has been.  WOW!  We have been shooting all over the beautiful State of Texas.  One of the most spectacular shoots that we have participated in this spring was at Rio Brazos Hunting Preserve in Simonton, TX.  The Triple Classic Shoot was hosted by the Brunton's and they provided a very exciting and fun shoot.  George Digweed donated a trip to England and a week long hunt and instructional shoot to one of the lucky shooters from Texas.  Everyone I spoke with agreed that was one exceptional shoot.  Lynne Green has pictures of this event if anyone would like to view them on her website.  Driscoll and I shot at the new facility: Caney Creek Lodge in Teague, Tx a few weeks ago and plan to attend their next shoot in a couple of weeks.  Those folks are the nicest around our area and threw a great first shoot.  Thanks again!

 

I hope all my fellow DIVA's are doing OK after all of this bad weather we've experienced the last couple of weeks.  I checked in with Leann Blum in Missouri after the tornado that hit Joplin and she and her family are fine.  They live about two hours away from the worst hit area.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the people who have lost loved ones and their personal belongings.

 

My next adventure will be to Houston, TX to the Texas State Championship at the American Shooting Center.  Then we will be back in Grapeland for a couple of weeks while my Dad has his colon surgery.  After his recovery we will be heading to New Mexico again for their State Shoot and then up to Montana for a visit with our kids and some fly fishing.  I will update you again soon!   See you down the road,
